The bibliography is subdivided into the following sixteen sections: General accounts. Arms trafficking and firearms. Early military campaigns. Anglo-Abyssinian War (1867-1868). Battle of Dogali (1887). Battle of Adwa (1896). World War I (1914-1918). Haile Selassie era. Mengistu Haile Mariam era (1974-1991). Meles Zanawi era (1991-present). Ethiopia-Egyptian relations and conflicts. Ethiopia-Somalia relations and conflicts. Ethiopia-Sudan relations and conflicts. Ethiopian-Italian relations and conflicts. Ethiopia-United Kingdom relations and conflicts. Ethiopia-United States relations. There is no coverage of the Italo-Ethiopian War (1935-1936) and the Eritrean secession war (1961-1991), both of which will be subjects of subsequent bibliographies. |
