Abstract: | The political changes that have taken place in Ethiopia since 1991 have led to the proliferation of the debate on human rights. The period after 1991 has also witnessed a significant increase in the role of new actors in Ethiopia, notably NGOs. Focus of the present article is the Eneweyay Civic and Social Education Centre (ECSEC) and its educational programme in human rights. [ASC Leiden abstract] |
