Abstract: | This collective volume includes a selection of papers on contemporary international relations and foreign policies of African States. Most of the papers were presented at the 13th International Conference of Africanists 'Society and politics in Africa: traditional, transitional and new' held in Moscow, May 27-30 2014. The book is divided into six sections, each focusing on relations with a particular region or subject.
