Abstract: | This book presents fifteen interviews with Nigerian writer and playwright Femi Osofisan, conducted in different countries over a period of eighteen years. The interviews address Osofisan's views on the culture of theatre, reading and writing in Nigeria as well as on the Nigerian political and social context. As a playwright he uses Greek Drama to foreground ordinary citizens in his works. The interviews have been edited and grouped together into three sections: I. Adaptations, II. Revolutionary theatre, and III. Writing.
