Abstract:	This collective volume offers reflections from an African perspective on the African HIV and AIDS pandemic. The authors include biblical exegetes, ethicists, historians, pastoral practitioners, philosophers, social scientists and theologians. They address socio-historical, cultural and political contexts of the pandemics and approach the subject from various angles (sociological, ecclesiological, public health etc.).
