| Abstract: | This work provides a comprehensive survey of the main social services in Nigeria. Beginning with an introductory discussion that encompasses their historical development, organization and management, the author continues with an analysis of the various aspects of the main social services, focussing attention on education, employment services, health, welfare services and community development, housing, urban planning, leasure and tourist services, and social infrastructure (transport, electricity, water supply, postal services and telecommunications.) |
