| Abstract: | (Draft not to be quoted). In 1967 a start was made with education for self reliance. The author now looks in primary and secondary schools at a small number of practical policy issues that must be absolutely centreal to the doctrine of ESR. His first explorations suggest that there really is an urgent need to examine further data at the level of the school, the family and the village in order to understand truly the implementation of the educational reforms in these last 15 years. |
