Abstract:This research guide, published in connection with the 'Pluriannual Programme on the Social Implications of the Implementation of the Lagos Plan of Action', defines issues and priorities for research with respect to the promotion of food self-sufficiency (chapter prepared by Founou Tchuigua) and scientific and technological autonomy (Bedoui Abdeljelil), as well as the strengthening of underprivileged social groups (children, youth and women) in Africa (Adepoju Aderanti), along the lines of the Lagos Plan of Action.
