| Abstract: | With policy makers and development practitioners raising concerns around the exclusive qualities of innovation, an interest has started to develop in how innovation can benefit disenfranchised individuals and communities and in the role of universities in this space. This report describes a CFIA-funded study of technology-based innovation projects at universities in the Western Cape province of South Africa. |
