| Abstract: | This study focuses on arbitration as an alternative method of disputes settlment in the drc. the author analyzes the legal rules that apply to jurisdiction and referral to the arbitral tribunal, the method of appointing its arbitrators and the arbitral procedure. it also considers the arbitral award as well as the remedies available to the parties, with a particular look at the arbitration such as organized by the national center of abitration, conciliation and mediation of the federation of enterprises of congo and in comparison with the proceedings before the civil courts of the state. |
