| Abstract: | Judicial cooperation in criminal matters is currently a major challenge for the success and improvement of the effectiveness of the fight against impunity in the great lakes region. the porosity of borders having led to a certain internationalization of crimes, the advent of another mode of investigation and prosecution has proven to be of undeniable importance. however, this cooperation has many obstacles that weaken the effects of the related judicial convention thus creating impunity in the region. it is therefore necessary to make radical changes at both the legal and institutional level in order to give useful effect to judicial cooperation in criminal matters in the great lakes region. |
